Countering republican demonstrations
Outline:
Since His Majesty The King’s accession to the Throne, republicans have launched a spate of demonstrations targeting the Royal Family and the magnificent state ceremonies which form part of the very fabric of our country’s history and culture.
The Royalists have pledged to counter-demonstrate at every protest they organise.
Trooping the Colour Rally:
The Royalists rallied on The King’s Official Birthday to provide an effective counter-demonstration to a republican protest. Volunteers distributed leaflets and stickers to members of the public and helped to drown out their fatuous chanting. Our presence on the day was covered by the Daily Mail, Manchester Evening News, The Times, iNews, and US newspaper Barron’s.
State Opening of Parliament Rally:
The Royalists gathered during the State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday, 17 July 2024 to counter-demonstrate a republican gathering. We were covered in the press by BBC Television, the Express, The Times, the Daily Mail, and iNews.
